About Joshua P. Friedman

Joshua P. Friedman is a licensed attorney in California, in both state and federal courts. Mr. Friedman began his career at Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton, LLP, one of California’s largest firms, before forming Joshua P. Friedman and Associates, Inc. in 2004. Mr. Friedman is currently representing lead creditor Joseph Fahs against Guess? founder Georges Marciano, who was awarded a $74M+ judgment.

Mr. Friedman is a member of the American Bar Association, California Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, California Creditors Bar Association, ACA International (leading collections organization nationwide), California Association of Collectors, and California Association of Judgment Professionals. Mr. Friedman was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2009 and 2010 by Los Angeles Magazine. Mr. Friedman is a regular lecturer on issues relating to collections and judgment enforcement, including Santa Clarita Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, and National Business Institute (NBI) for continuing legal education credit. Mr. Friedman currently also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the California Creditors Bar Association and Vice President of the California Association of Judgment Professionals.

Joshua P. Friedman received his juris doctorate from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles (2001) and his bachelor of arts from the University of Pennsylvania (1995).
